Located inside Hotel Red Bay
Bill Flowers said January 2023 “In the lobby of the Historic Hotel Red Bay there is a relatively new hidden gem – BelHaven Heights Gifts – but it is far more than just a gift shop! Both the hotel and gift shop are owned and run by Sheri Farris, the former manager of what was then the Tiffin Hospitality Center, now the Tiffin General Store, which is just across the street.
When you enter the lobby of the hotel you will see many small dining tables and chairs, and through a double door off the lobby you can see the giftshop filled with all sorts of knickknacks. At the doorway there is a sign promoting their coffees and frappes, which explains the small dining area.
Among other things the giftshop is filled with an eclectic mix of regionally themed gifts, soaps, some items that would be useful in an RV, and some cute children’s clothing – I can just picture our 2-year old granddaughter in some of those dresses!
In addition to the gifts you can enjoy one of the previously mentioned drinks (including espresso, cappuccino or a mocha – my personal favorite!) you can get one of their grab & go lunch items which include the house chicken salad or pimento and cheese. Or perhaps relax at one of the tables with their soup of the day. The coffee used is roasted locally and you can buy bags of the coffee to take home with you.
Sheri is always cheerful and willing to chat and help you find just the perfect gift or souvenir at reasonable prices.
When you are in Red Bay the hotel is not just a place to rest your head! Take a few minutes to visit and say hello to Sheri and see what she has to offer.
