Spotlight on RV Electronics: Nick Brewer by Peggy Shafer

Many of you have probably had occasion to have Nick Brewer work on your RV. He has worked for Tiffin Motorhomes since 2007. As an After Hours Tech, he runs his own business, aptly named RV Electronics. Nick has earned a reputation as the go-to guy for everything related to RV satellite systems, cell phone boosters, radio, navigation, and antennas. Nick has over 14 years of experience in his field, and he is truly a wizard at trouble shooting and installation!

Nick and his wife Charlene have been married more than 30 years and Red Bay has been their home for over 22 years. Before Red Bay, Nick lived in nearby Tremont, Mississippi for 21 years, so he is a native of the area. Charlene works for Tiffin in data processing. They are proud parents of son Noah, who is now 22.

When Nick is not working on RVs he enjoys riding jet skis and going to the beach. Nick says his favorite part of his job is customer relations. He loves meeting people from all walks of life. Many will say they feel they walked in the door as a customer but walked out feeling they had a new lifelong friend. He says his customers, to him, are like family. He stays in contact with them – and he has an amazing memory for exactly what he has done to your rig! Nick’s genuine smile and friendly demeanor have a way of putting you at ease, and he carefully listens to exactly what you need. It quickly becomes apparent he knows exactly what he’s doing – and he doesn’t give up until he has it right.

One of the things customers like best about Nick is that he truly supports what he sells and installs. He is just a phone call or text away from helping you trouble shoot after you’ve left Red Bay. One customer said “He walked me through manually putting my Dish Traveler down when a part failed – I would have had NO idea what to do. Another time, after driving rough Pennsylvania Roads, we got no signal after putting up the dish. He helped us track down a plug that had come loose in just minutes. It’s that kind of service that keeps us coming back to Nick Brewer.”

As far as expansion, some of the new things Nick is doing is installing the ever-popular swivel mounts on the outside TV. He specializes in setting up Starlink. Nick operates RV Electronics from his shop just a mile south of Red Bay Acres RV Resort where he has a lift that quickly gets him and equipment up on the roof of your RV. When asked what he is MOST proud of, Nick answered “I don’t really know. I just always try to be a man of my word.” Nick Brewer, that, right there, is a LOT to be proud of.
